I was born, raised and educated in the Philadelphia region.  After residency training, I joined private practice in the Pocono Mountains in northeastern Pennsylvania where I worked for eight years prior to coming to Virginia.  The mountains’ five local ski areas and many four season resorts afforded me tremendous exposure to a multitude of fractures and injuries.  Although I practice general orthopedics, my passion lies in fracture and injury care.

My wife Sandra, and Daughter Julia, are the loves of my life and remain my focus outside of orthopedics.
